Multi Discipline

BMX

  1. Deliver an effective and well-timed body movement against the start commands.
  2. Deliver a progressive gate effort at high intensity.
  3. Perform a start at speed alongside other riders on a 5m start hill.

  2. Understand the phases needed at the start of track.  

Road

  1. Held start TT + 100m sprint

MTB/ CX

  1. Clip-in on the first attempt and accelerate out of the saddle - changing gear smoothly as required.
  2. Gain places during a start effort against other riders.
